

He was born on September 16, 1930 in Blue Goose, TN to the late Maryann and Lon Cagle. He was married September 5, 1953 to Johnnie Lee Brady Cagle. She passed away on December 11, 2002.
Lois was one of ten boys.
He worked as a manager and salesperson for United Wholesale Florist retiring from there with 36 years, He then went to work for Jackson Christian School part-time and worked there for 17 years. He also worked for three years part time at Memphis Funeral Home.
Lois received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army as Corporal in October of 1952. He proudly served his country in the Korean War from 1950-1952. He was honored with four bronze stars for his service.
He is survived by his son, Michael L. Cagle and daughter, Lesa Cagle McClure. He is survived by his two loving granddaughters, Amanda McClure and Brittany Cagle. Other survivors include his brothers, Alton Cagle, Ollie Cagle, James Earl Cagle, and Harold Cagle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maryann and Lon Cagle, and his brothers, DeRoy Cagle, Homer Cagle, L.V. Cagle, Ray Cagle and Billy Joe Cagle.
Funeral services for Lois will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 1 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with burial to follow with military honors in Independence Cemetery in Henderson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, April 19, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel.
The family requests that in lieu of sending memorials, that you send flowers. Lois worked proudly in the floral business and would appreciate all floral remembrances.
