

Funeral services for Margaret Laverne Emison Hooker, age 82, will be held at 12 PM Monday March 29th from the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Cemetery near Bells, TN.
Mrs. Hooker passed away Thursday, March 25th at Belcourt Terrace Nursing Center in Nashville following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hooker was born in Bells, TN on May 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Carl and Nina Lou East Emison. On December 23, 1947 she married her husband of many years, William A. Hooker, Jr. who preceded her in death on December 25, 1995. Mrs. Hooker was a former resident of Mimi, Florida and Cedar Grove, Tennessee. She was Lutheran in faith and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathryn Weinrich (Alan) of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, William Hooker of Hollywood, Florida; and Jonathan Hooker (Carmel) Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren, Willie Hooker, Andrew Hooker, Sheena Weinrich, David Weinrich, Chad Hooker, Sierra Hooker and Paul Hooker; one brother, Fred Emison (Eva) of Jackson, TN; a sister-in-law, Joan Emison, the widow of Wayne Emison and a brother to Mrs. Hooker who also preceded her in death. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation with the Hooker family will be held on Monday, March 29th from 10 AM until the service.
