On December 12, 2010 Marge Lane was released from the grips of Alzheimer's into the arms of the Lord. "The strife is o'er, the battle done, the victory of life is won; the song of triumph has begun. Alleluia!"
Marjorie Frances Wright was born on July 25, 1924 to Clara and Robert Preston Wright, the fourth of seven children.
She married Dr. James D. Lane, the love of her life in 1945. They were married for 47 years and are survived by their two children, James D. Lane II (Susan) of Tullahoma, TN, Candice Lane Bolin (Steve) of Franklin, TN and one beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Tarlton Lane.
With her varied interests, myriad of friends and family, and love of the Lord, Marge enjoyed a full and wonderful life. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Her family will celebrate her life with a private Memorial service.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association , the American Cancer Association or the Alzheimer's Association .
