Martha O. Young

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28 2011 at 12 p.m., in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Joiner, AR, the daughter of the late Fred and Ozell Oliver. Martha loved spending time with her family and above all, a strong faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of Mason Wells Baptist Church in Jackson, TN.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Bobby Young; 1 son, Randy of Medina, TN; 3 grandsons, Tyler, Jonathan and Neal, all of Jackson, TN; 1great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Young of Medina, TN; 6 sisters, Nell (Marvis) Bostick of Tupelo, MS, Luree Gilbert of North Aurora, IL, Bonnie Williamson of of Zion, IL, Mary (Roy) Garrett of Montgomery, IL, Rosa (Bob) Neri of Dekalb, IL, Linda Morin of Aurora, IL and 1 brother, T.A. Oliver of Montgomery, IL. Dokem is also survived by Jorene and Marvin Rogers, brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Jackson, TN; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Rocky; mother and father; 3 brothers, Charles, Homer and Ken Oliver.

She will be sadly missed by all, especially her sisters who kept in contact with her almost daily.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at George A Smith and Sons North Chapel, (731) 427-5555.
