Maxine was born April 4, 1934 in Wildersville, TN, to the late Kermit Roosevelt "Mack" Simpson and Jencie Kennedy Laws Simpson. She retired from The Jackson Clinic as a Medical Assistant in the Urology Department.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Crow; and her second husband, Eddie Long.
She is survived by her four children, Steve Crow (Kathy), Kathy Jordan, Mark Crow (Lisa), and Scott Crow (Linda); grandchildren, Jennifer Blackwell (Ron), Jeremy Chism (Amy), and Allison Hoggard; four great grandchildren, Tyler Collins, Logan Blackwell (Laura), Colin Blackwell (Brittany), and Brennan Blackwell; and three great great grandchildren, Kira Blackwell, Korbin Blackwell, and Theodore Blackwell. Maxine is also survived by one brother, Billy Simpson (Dot).
A graveside service for Maxine will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Tennessee.
