Monte Ralph Tines

He was born on March 13, 1945 in Cedar Grove, TN, the son of the late Clifton Lynn and Naris Gowan Tines. He retired after 30+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor with Quaker Oats.

Monte is survived by his wife, Dee Tines; daughter, Meg Tines Mann (Chris); grandchildren, Bo Bratton, Beth Scruggs (Justin), and Blair Pinson (fiancé, Skylar Sage); two great grandchildren, Atticus Ecker and Sam Scruggs; and siblings, Kenneth Tines and Joyce Tines.

He is also survived by his step children, Houston Wells (Kristin Crihfield) and Bekah Sullivan (Nathan); and step grandchildren, Jersey Wells, Evelyn Wells, Blake Wells, and Connor Sullivan.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 9-11 a.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, officiated by Bro. Gary Wallace. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. A private family burial will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Cedar Grove, TN.

Pallbearers to serve will be Houston Wells, Nathan Sullivan, Chris Mann, Chad Ward, John Springer, and Terry Bray.
