

She was married to the late Clinton Oscoe Barker on June 20th 1942, graduated from Bolivar High School and attended West Tennessee Business College. During the War, she worked in Washington D.C. for the War Department. She was a member of Malesus Baptist Church, the Golden Rule Sunday School Class and taught Sunday School, G.A.'s and Vacation Bible School. She had a love for Iris and shared that love with others. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Cravens (Cecil), Ronald Barker (Vickie) and Phillip Barker (Kimba). Her grandchildren Greg Cravens (Paula), Jeff Cravens (Jenny), Ranee Jones (Brandon), Jill Markle (Scott) ,Julie Barker (James), RIchard Lawrence (Krystal) Sunnye Lawrence. Great-grandchildren Gideon and Corey Cravens, Anna, Emily and Olivia Jones, Brennan Barker Mainers and Nora and Lynlee Lawrence, Jay and Nicole Cravens.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday February 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Jerry Barker officiating. A private burial will take place in New Union Baptist Church Cemetery, in Hardeman County.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 23, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
