Patsy Marie Gooch, 74, of Jackson, TN, passed away on June 3, 2016. She is survived by her beloved children, Kathy Jones (Paul), Jennifer Gorga, (John Harper), Rhonda Elford (John), and Tony Gooch (Michelle), and her mother, Cluster Oatsvall. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Phil, Chris, and Kyle Jones; Elizabeth and Alex Gorga; John and Olivia Elford; and 4 great grandchildren, Emilee, Levi, Abel, and Marlee Jones.
Patsy devoted her whole life to lovingly caring for her husband, Clevie, her children, and her home. She was adored by her family, and cherished by her friends and neighbors. Besides family, Patsy loved flowers, creativity, the outdoors, and the Smoky Mountains. Her family will always remember her feisty spirit and her willingness to give all she had to those she loved.
She is preceeded in death by Clevie, her husband of 59 years, who passed only 12 days ago. Patsy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00-8:00 at Smith's Funeral Home-North Chapel. Services will be graveside at Highland Memorial Gardens at 10 am Sunday.
