Funeral services for Mrs. Stewart will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with interment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers to serve will be John, Ron, Michael, and Jason Stewart, Josh Dempsey, and Lance Markham.
Pauline was born on July 26, 1924 in Humphreys County to the late Modie and Mary Jane Shafer. Her family considered her the best homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother that anyone could have. She was a lifelong member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Stewart; her sister, Helen; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Stewart.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Stewart (Pam) of Beech Bluff; Terry Stewart of Lexington; and Don Stewart of Medina; as well as 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, February 24, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel.
