Aunt Polly: Was a wonderful Christian lady that I loved her very much. She was funny and a hoot. I will miss her dearly. I hope people remember me as fondly as they do Aunt Polly. She was a special lady. Until we meet again.

During my visit home in September 2019. I was honored to visit Aunt Polly. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. As we sat in her spotless home. She was absolutely beautiful. And looked as though she hadn’t aged a bit. Over the many years, since I last saw her. She was the eldest relative in our family. And she shared some stories from the past. Her being the sister of my grandma Sue. She had a bell collection. And insisted my cousin Tracy and I pick one. And to take one to our cousins Tina and Bridgett as well. I put my lil bell with chickens on it. Perfect for my kitchen. On a shelf over my sink. I will always cherish it. As I remember such an amazing lady. Rest In Peace Aunt Polly. I love you.

I loved Polly. Every time I met Polly we started with a hug, how have you been and she would say something funny and get me to laughing. You could not be sad around Polly. We have lost a wonderful lady but God gained a Angel who will give hugs and maybe even tell a joke. Till next time Polly❤️

There’s not another like Mrs. Buckingham nor will there ever be. Every memory I have of her has a hug involved with lots of laughter. She always had a joke or something witty to say. Our long time joke has become a gift I will always remember.

She loved and was loved by many.

South Jackson has lost a special friend. My prayers are with her family and friends. May God bless her memory and may his comforting hands be on all who are grieving.

Mrs. Poly, until we meet again, thanks for the laughs and love. I hope my mansion is close to yours.

I have nothing but happy memories from my momma. There will never be anyone like her. She was funny, shared jokes with others, great personality, never met a stranger, if you met her as a stranger, you wouldn’t have been after you met her. Momma & Daddy made my childhood so much fun!! Exciting. Everyone loved momma. She was a Christian woman. Also everyone’s second momma. Very respected by the ones who knew her. I love & miss my momma, always will. R.I.P. momma. Heaven needed a special loving angel, so he chose her. He got a wonderful angel.
