Robert James Kirby age 66 of Jackson, TN, passed away in September of 2010 in Jackson. He was born on November 16, 1943 to the late Homer Lewis and Mary Stella Kirby. Robert was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church, served in the Army and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Mr. Kirby is survived by a sister, Lela Pearl Straley of Houston, TX; a brother, Leo Kirby; a niece, Lisa Michelle Kirby and a cousin, Imogene gates all of Jackson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by two sisters, Vircilla Kirby and Amaree Berry LeRoue; and a brother, Franklin Lewis Kirby.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Highland Memorial Gardens with entombment to follow. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
