Robert William Turner

Mr. Turner was born on December 4, 1949 in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Ellis John Turner and Marjorie Ale Turner. Robert served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sargent and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert continued his leadership role by becoming the Cub Master for Pack 205 for both his sons, Robert Jr and Joseph Ellis. Robert continued to have leadership roles as his sons transitioned into Boy Scouting. He served as a scout leader for 34 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Joe and Maxine Grooms.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Grooms Turner of Oakfield;his sons, Robert William Turner Jr and Joseph Ellis Turner. He was also a grandparent to Lillian Grace Turner, Mae Elizabeth Turner, and Ellis William Turner.

Robert is also survived by his sister, Sharon Cugino; brother-in-law, Greg Cugino; brother, David Turner; and uncle and aunt, Lee and Carolyn Turner, all of New Jersey.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Turner will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. At his request, his ashes will be scattered in his home state of New Jersey.
