Ruby Fitzgerald Allen

Ruby was born on February 17, 1947 in Milan, TN to the late Homer and Christine Fitzgerald. She graduated from Beech Bluff High School in 1965. She was an active member of Campbell Street Church of Christ and involved with the RTBAGA's group and Tuesday morning ladies bible class. Ruby loved her Tuesday afternoon card game with her dear work friends. She enjoyed cooking for family as well as others who were in need. Ruby's greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Allen Scott; 3 brothers Franklin, Tommy and James Fitzgerald and 1 sister Barbara Harvey.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Allen of Jackson, whom she married on September 3, 1965; 2 sons Kevin (Tina) and Darin (Stephanie) of Jackson: 4 grandchildren, Jordan Allen of Nashville, TN, Lauren Haggard (Trevor) of Murfreesboro, TN, Kaleigh Allen of Jackson: and Ty Allen of Jackson: 1 great grand child Hudson Haggard of Murfreesboro: 1 sister Darlene Weatherford (Wayne) of Jackson: and mother-in-law Frances Allen of Jackson.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening, October 23, 2018 from 5-7 pm as well as Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 12-1 pm at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.

The funeral service is to be conducted at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with interment to follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
