Steven Lonnie Spencer, age 21 of Jackson, passed from this life on December 26, 2011. He was born on December 14, 1990 in Jackson, TN. He was a 2009 graduate of South Side High School and was currently serving in the United States Air Force as Airman First Class, stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Bigelow and husband David; father, Rob Spencer Jr.; stepmother, Amanda McBride; two step sisters, Jeri Bigelow and Kelcey McBride; a step brother, Korbin McBride, great grandparents, Millard and Thelma Alford; maternal grandparents, Charles and Charlotte Connell; paternal grandmother, Barbara Foster and husband Ronnie; paternal grandfather, Robert L. Spencer Sr.; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, December 31, 201l and the funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2012 all held at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Medina, TN.
Pallbearers will be Jon Anderson, Caleb Thomas, Cole Long, Kevin Gage, Mason Simpson and Hunter Taylor.
