Mr. Thomas Ray Carrington was born to the union of Mr. Marshall Lee Carrington and Katie Louise Davis on March 11, 1952 in Rigley, TN.
Thomas Ray was honorably discharged from the U.S Armed Forces having served in the Navy branch from 1972-1976. He was a proud veteran who showed great dignity and respect toward our country.
Thomas Ray spent the last few years of his life residing at Second Chance Developmental Treatment Center, owner Lamont Ingram. He was best known as the time oriented person who didn’t like much change in his daily routine. He will be remembered for his joy of reading books, watching the local news for current events, and eating bologna along with “fluffy white bread”.
One close brother J.C Carrington preceded him in death.
Thomas Ray leaves to cherish his memories one son Thomas Carrington Jr., one brother L.C Carrington of Westland , MI; three sisters Margaret Willis of Battle Creek, MI; Sharon Scoggin of Dearborn MI, Carol-Sue Scoggin of Carlton, MI; along with a host of nieces and nephews including one close and long time friend Mr. Tom Bynum of Martin, TN.
