A graveside service for Tillman will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 in the Hollywood Cemetery.
Mr. Pulliam was born in Holly Springs, MS to the late Willie and Mamie Smith Pulliam on July, 14, 1922 and moved to Jackson in 1941. He attended Fairview High School, and was a proud Veteran after serving his Country in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. After serving his time in the Navy, he retired from the Illinois Company Railroad after 46 years of service. Mr. Tillman was an active member of VFW Post 1848, and East Trinity United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mrs. Sarah Voss Pulliam; 4 nieces, Candy Austin, Betty Keen, Carol Garner, Jan Eastman and 2 nephews, Blaine Kellis and Bill Pulliam.
