Virginia Prince RobertsMrs. Virginia Prince Roberts, age 91 of Jackson, passed away on August 14, 2015 at her home in Jackson. Virginia was born on June 19, 1924 in Hardin County, the daughter of John Stanley and Edna Blount Prince. Virginia was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired from Bendix Automotive Aftermarket as an Analyst.Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Roberts; brother, Douglas Prince; and sisters, Evelyn Theis and Captolla Huffines. She is survived by two sons, Lindsay Roberts (Melodie) and Dale Roberts; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Virginia will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Gwen Streeter officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.Active Pallbearers to serve are Chris Roberts, Tony Murdaugh, Guy Murdaugh, Mark Murdaugh, and Zach Murdaugh.The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A.
