Dr. William H. "Bill" Nace

Funeral services will be held on April 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the North Chapel of George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home with burial following with military honors in Hollywood Cemetery.

Mr. Nace was born on May 29, 1931, in Paducah, Kentucky to the late William Murrell and Lucille Green Nace. After serving in the Korean War, he came home to Jackson to study at Lambuth University. He met his wife, Roanne at Lambuth and they were married 57 years until his death.

He was on staff at Lambuth for thirteen years. He retired in 1995 as the director of the Methodist Tennessee Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Murrell and Lucille Green Nace.

He is survived by his wife, Roanne Rowlett Nace of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Paula Rushing of Jackson, TN; two granddaughters, Bailey Goff (Ryan) and Abbey Reeves of Jackson, TN; two great grandchildren, Jenna Reeves and Elaina Goff; and four brothers, Eugene Nace (Marj) of Stuart, Florida, Joe Nace of Conroe, Texas, Kenneth Nace (Melba) of Melbourne, Florida, and Larry Nace (Peggy) of Jackson, TN.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5-7 pm in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral home.
