
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charlotte Van den Bosch; son William Van den Bosch, Jr. (Michelle); and three grandchildren, Hannah, Abbey, and Will, III.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Van den Bosch, and a brother, John Van den Bosch, Jr.
He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Jackson, TN. His focus in life was God, family, church, and his work, in that order. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and home projects. After a long career with the United States Postal Service, he retired in 1992. He served his country in the Tennessee National Guard.
Funeral services for Bill will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 12 Noon at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Howard and Rev. Ford S. Williams, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers to serve will be Mike Attaway, Brent Attaway, Braden Duffey, Craig Reasons, Sam Chhim, and Barry Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Van den Bosch, III, Paul Van den Bosch, Peter Van den Bosch, William Huckaba, and Jim Griffith.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
