Aalok "Mintu" Kuthiala

Aalok “Mintu” Kuthiala, age 43, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1973 to his parents, Sudarshan and Chitra Kuthiala, and was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended San Jose Episcopal Day School for elementary school. and went on to graduate from The Bolles School with Honors in 1990. His passion for life and school lived on in his academics, as well as his love for soccer. He then went on to attend the University of North Carolina, where he met his beloved wife, Sejal. They went on to medical school where he earned his degree from St. George’s School Of Medicine in 2000. Aalok and Sejal were married in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 15, 2000. He completed Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia in 2005. He dedicated his entire medical career to Nephrology Associates of North East Florida, where he passionately cared for all of those he served.

Aalok never met a person in his life that could not feel his giving personality in an instant. With his quick wit and humor, he left a mark on all the people he encountered in a very special way, both professionally and personally. His enjoyment from doing it all, from fixing the smallest things, to his career, was only surpassed by his love for his wife and children. His children were the light of his life and gave him his sense of being.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sejal Kuthiala; and children, Rayna 13, Meera 11, and Neal 8; parents, Sudarshan and Chitra Kuthiala; and brother, Suneil Kuthiala.

His service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 10:00am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home ~Hendricks Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in honor of Aalok Kuthiala to the Hindu Society of NE Florida. www.hsnef.org
