Aaron Morris Leonard

Aaron Morris Leonard, 80, passed away on July 29, 2010. A native of Jacksonville, he was born to the late Leo and Mary Leonard. He was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center and a veteran of the US Navy. He touched the lives of all who knew him.

He leaves behind sister and brother-in-law, Ruth L. and Paul Zimmerman; sister, Mildred L. Statland; his cousins, Aaron and Elaine Perlman; and his nieces and nephews that he loved as if they were his own children, Marcia and David Greenberg, Susan and Norman Cohen, Lynda and Howard Kosoy, Larry and Catherine Statland, Barbara and Ken Cleary, Jeffrey Statland, Kayla Greenberg, Jonathon and Pam Cohen, Meagan and Stephen Jones, Janna Cohen, Andrew and Jennifer Kosoy, Jennifer Kosoy, Joshua Kosoy, Max Statland, Eli Cleary, Daniel Cleary, Hannah Cohen and Eli Kosoy. He also leaves behind many devoted and lifelong friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Riverside Memorial Park with Rabbi Rafi Cohen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Jewish Center, River Garden Hebrew Home or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
