

MORENCY- SSgt Aaron Daniel Morency, USAF, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Aaron was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 2, 1991 to Norman Paul Morency, Jr. and Cathryn Lynn Lafferty Morency. He worked as a Flight and Operational Medical Technician in the United States Air Force serving at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. Aaron enjoyed playing guitar, singing, writing music, cooking, comics (especially Star Wars), training his pup Malgus, making people laugh, and being around his closest friends, Trey, Brian, Johnny, and Mark.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Nancy Areli Morency; his parents, Norman Paul Morency Jr. and Cathryn Lynn Morency; his brothers, Phillip, Matthew, Dillon, Joseph, and Vincent; his sisters, Christina and Juliana; Grandparents: Laura and Earl Thompson; preceded in death Norman and Rose Morency; Terry Lee Lafferty; Aunts and Uncles: Debbie and Ray Register, Denise and Mike Myers, Joseph and Tammy Burton, Tim and Martha Lafferty, Terry Wayne and Debbie Lafferty and many cousins.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated 10:00 am, Friday, September 25th at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 121 E. Duval Street with Fr. Blair Gaynes, and Fr. Martin Arokia Raj as Celebrants. The Committal services with full Military Honors will be Private and held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville 32211.
