Albert (Al) Walker, 77, went home to be with Jesus on February 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Walker, Sr. and Irene Coffey, and his son Michael. Al was an active member of Parkwood Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force, was retired from Cecil Field as a firefighter and volunteered at Arlington Little League. He also was a volunteer firefighter at Station 27. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 50 years, Margaret, a precious daughter, Allison, son-in-law, Andrew, and granddaughter, Alexis Goldman.
A celebration of life will be held at Parkwood Baptist Church on Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Al’s memory to Parkwood Baptist Church. Interment, with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home.
