Alex was born on September 17, 1997 to Monica Roberts Bain and John Bain. After graduating from Mandarin High School in 2016 Alex attended the University of Central Florida. At the time of his death Alex worked at Fidelity Investments in Jacksonville.
Alex was a joy who embraced adventure throughout his life. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and grandson who loved to spend time with his family. He was known for his bright and genuine smile, his kindheartedness and his sense of humor which made others laugh. In addition to being a hard worker, he was an athlete who enjoyed soccer, snowboarding and adventures of all sorts, especially travel. Alex showed his love through his commitment to others and his devotion to their happiness.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his beloved brother Scott, his paternal grandparents John R. and Marilyn Bain and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alex was a blessing to all who knew him and, although our hearts are broken, we have faith in God’s promise that we will all be reunited in heaven.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 11:00 at the Episcopal Church of our Saviour at 12236 Mandarin Road.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the National Alliance to End Homelessness.
