

Allen proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 24 years of dedicated service. Following his military career, he continued his professional life working for Bank of America and later Jones College, where he remained committed to hard work and service to others.
Allen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karen Friedlander; his daughters, Johanna Kerns and Jennifer Hajoui; his sons-in-law, Michael Kerns and Alex Hajoui; his four grandchildren, Adam and Zachary Hajoui, and Catherine and Collin Kerns; as well as his sister, Paula Hodder, and his brother, Douglas Friedlander.
In his free time, Allen found joy in diving, photography, fishing, boating, and camping. He especially treasured time spent outdoors and moments shared with his family, creating memories that will be deeply cherished.
Allen will be remembered for his dedication, his adventurous spirit, and his deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Allen Friedlander will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 10th.
Allen was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida.
