

Anna Mae Grossmann was born in Staunton, Il on March 17th, 1927. First child of Earnest P. Mader and Elise L. Mader and attained the age of 93 years. She married Joseph Grossmann on May 15th, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, and he preceded her in death on June 20th, 1978. Anna and Joe Grossmann moved to Jacksonville, Fl., February 1969 and made this their permeant place of residence. Mrs. Grossmann was a homemaker and worked for the Florida State Board of Nursing until retirement in 1992. She was always very active with her children during their time with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Arlington Lions Club Baseball/Football Association, and Hurley Manor Residents of which she lived at for 22 years. She was an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Mrs. Grossmann is survived by her sister Arlene Bertogilo, and survived by two daughters and two sons, Gail Honeycutt of Oklahoma, Kim Grossmann of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Mark Grossmann of St. Louis, MO and Scott Grossmann and his wife Kathy Grossmann of Jacksonville Fl. In addition, Mrs. Grossmann leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter-n-law Sharon Grossmann, and two grandchildren, Angie and Jerry Grossmann.
A Celebration of Life will be held after social distancing restrictions have been lifted for family and friends. Arrangements are under the care of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home.
