Anne Marie Dundes

Anne Dundes, 65, of St. John's, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on May 10, 2025. Born on August 12, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Shirlee Meyung, Anne lived a life radiant with compassion, generosity, and unyielding strength.

For nearly two decades, Anne poured her heart into senior living as a dedicated Sales and Marketing Director at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek. Retiring after touching countless lives, she found her life’s purpose in bringing dignity, comfort, and joy her residents.

Anne’s greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her five beloved granddaughters: Riley, Reagan, Olivia, Evelyn, and Gabriela. She poured her heart into every moment with them—whether it was sneaking extra cookies, sleepovers, or crafting holiday traditions—filling their lives with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.

A self-proclaimed shopaholic, Anne had a knack for finding bargains and a heart that delighted in giving. Her shopping bags were always filled with thoughtful gifts meant to brighten others’ days. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her delight came from sparking smiles.

Deeply faithful, Anne was a pillar in her church community, known for her kindness and resilience. Even in adversity, her radiant joy never dimmed. To know Anne was to be seen, loved, and uplifted—a friend to all who crossed her path. She leaves behind a world made better by her presence and hearts forever changed by her love.

Anne is survived by her children, Bradley Dundes (Sara), Jenna Yow (Glenn), and Brian Dundes (Ana); her five treasured granddaughters; her brothers, Paul (Jami) Meyung and John (Kelli) Meyung; and many nieces and nephews. To honor Anne, share a kind word, give generously, and spread joy as she did.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at Swiss Cove Christian Church, 1965 SR-13. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
