BENSON-Arnold “Wayne” Benson, Sr., 85, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. He was born October 16, 1929 in Brady Texas to the late Arnold and Mae Swenning Benson. Wayne married Naomi Wells who preceded him in death and to that union three blossoms were nurtured, Arnold Wayne Benson, Jr., Daniel Wells Benson and Deborah Lee Sullivan. Mr. Benson is also survived by his Sister, Rebecca Henderson and her Husband, Ken; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of other Relatives and Friends. Mr. Benson was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church for 65 years.Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Burial will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
