Audrey L. McCallum

McCALLUMAudrey L. McCallum passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Audrey was born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to Jack and Erma Edwards Coburn. A long-time Jacksonville resident, she enjoyed her career as a cosmetologist for over 50 years, had owned her own shop, and even still took care of her clients up until recently. Besides the great joy she had in working, she also loved spending time with her family. Audrey was pre-deceased by her parents and her son Gary T. McPartland. Survivors include her husband, Eddie (Gabby) McCallum; her devoted daughter, Sharon M. Brown and her husband Glenn; granddaughter, Shelley (Bill) Grant; great-granddaughters, Brooke and Caroline Grant; grandson, Brian McPartland; granddaughter, Amy McPartland Shrader; grandson, Shane McPartland; and numerous other relatives and friends. Her pallbearers will be Gary Francis, Tommy Reeves, Donald Aycock, Gary Chandler, Joe Thigpen, and Calvin Modling. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12 at Corey-Kerlin. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
