Barbara Elaine Reedy

Barbara was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 28, 1942, to Andrew and Elsie (Ulacky) Risko. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert Reedy, whom she married on June 22, 1963. Together, they raised a loving family, and Barbara was a dedicated stay-at-home mother.

Barbara enjoyed many hobbies, including reading, bowling, and playing the card game Pinnacle. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, children, Bobby, Barbara Ann (Ken), Jimmy (Wendi), Tommy, and Brian; her grandchildren, Bridget, Kenny, Connor, Donovan, Andrew, and great-grandchildren, Isla, Finn, and Sawyer; and sisters Karen and Andrea; as well as numerous extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Risko, and her mother, Elsie Risko.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, with a reception to follow.

Barbara's family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support they have received during this time. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
