Bette E. Hetsler

Mrs. Bette Elaine Warner Hetsler, 95,died January 24, 2012 after a brief illness. A native of Hammond, Indiana, she had lived in Jacksonville since 1943. Bette was co-owner and operator of the 400 Motor Court on Phillips Highway for 35 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include one daughter, Sally L. Criswell of Gainesville, FL, three sons, William O. Hetsler, Jr., Jacksonville, FL, Thomas D. Hetsler (Harriet), Ladson, SC and Robert G. Hetsler Sr., St. Johns, FL, 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, a niece, Eileen Shepard and great niece, Merideth Shepard of Illinois. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 6 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL. The Funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30, 2012 in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville.
