Betty was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 26, 1930 and graduated from Landon High School. She was married to Elkins Jack Green Sr. on May 12th, 1949. Betty was a homemaker, wife , mom and grandmother. She had a passion for her family, holidays, cooking and making everyone happy.
She is survived by her husband Jack Green, son Elkins Green Jr., son Jim Green, and daughter Wanda Robinson. Grand-daughter Wendy Zepatos, Grandson Tommy Robinson; Grandson James Green, 6 Great Grandchildren. Brother Frank O'Steen, son in law Grady Robinson. (Mabel); Sisters-in-law Mary Kinard (Albert) ; Myrta Moore, Frances O'Steen, and Arline O'Steen.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6: pm to 8:00 pm at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home.
