Betty Hadad Namey

Betty Hadad Namey, 93, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Betty was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Matilda and John Hadad. She graduated from University of Mississippi with a degree in Secretarial Science.

Betty was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Joseph (Joe) Namey, Sr. She is survived by her children Joseph Namey, Jr. (Connie), David Namey, Patricia McCauley-Cox (Bryan), John Namey (Patti), and Daniel Namey (Kim); and grandchildren Matthew Namey (Amanda), Mallory Gilliam (Brian), Jason Namey, and Joseph Namey, III; and her great-grandchildren Amelia Maxwell Gilliam and Deliliah Jo Gilliam. Betty was preceded in death by grandsons Maxwell McCauley and Michael Namey.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00am at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32217.
