Carolyn Bailey Stacy went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2015. She was born on April 20, 1919 in Kensington, GA. Carolyn and Davis met and were married in Chickamauga, GA. In 1957 they moved to Jacksonville, FL. She was an active member of Elizabeth Swaim Methodist Church where she had many dear friends and for a time served as Church Treasurer. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved by man. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Addie Bailey and her sisters Willie Mae Crowder, Eugenia Potts and Kathlene Davis. She is survived by Davis, her husband of 67 years, daughter Ann Stacy Blount (John) and grandchildren Michael and Stacy Blount, nieces and nephew, June Garmany, Sara Sears, Jo Marlow, Jimmie Raper and Reynolds Crowder.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Swaim Methodist Church, 1620 Naldo Ave. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until the 11:00 service, Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
