Cathy Suzanne Duckworth, age 57, passed away on March 8, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on November 24, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL to Robert J. Duckworth Sr. and Joann Hunter Duckworth.
Cathy had been employed as a dispatcher with Fenwick Plumbing Co. in Jacksonville for 20 years. She served as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital and for a time was the Pastor at the Hunterdale Family Fellowship Church. She was an avid writer and had been published on occasion in the Paisley News.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Robert John Duckworth Sr. She is survived by her son, Andrew J. Duckworth of Jacksonville, FL and her mother, Joann H. Mingle of Jacksonville, FL , two brothers, Robert John Duckworth, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Michael Duckworth (Lillian) of Brunswick, GA.
A visitation will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
A funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral Home with the Rev. Buck Stanley officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
