Cecil Francis Richardson

Cecil Francis Richardson passed away Saturday July 26, 2014. Cecil was born in Marion, South Carolina and moved to Jacksonville after serving in the Army. Cecil was predeceased by his loving wife Sally Richardson and sons Richard and Alex Richardson. Cecil is survived by four daughters Betty Traver, Ann Richardson, Cecilia Richardson, Theresa Harris and four sons John Richardson, Bill Richardson, Dan Richardson and Cecil Richardson. Cecil will also be missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cecil was a hardworking man who enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and western movies in his free time. He was happiest when surrounded by his loving family, and enjoyed spending time in his garden and tending to his pecan trees. A viewing will be heldon Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM at Hardage-Giddens on Hendricks Ave. A celebration of Cecil’s life will be held Wednesday at 10AM in the chapel at Hardage-Giddens followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Cecil will be truly missed by all who loved him.
