Chasey!! I know your the most beautiful angel in heaven! You became a brother to me while we were in treatment . I miss hearing u say "hey lil sissy!" . You make so many people laugh and smile even still thinkin about your humor and quirky ways . We all love you. When you left earth to heaven I cried and cried and wanted to see u., hear u , hug u. I was in 12 palms still , and I was cryin and looking up at the sky and in the clouds I saw a giant smily face, seriously , it was a perfect smile made in the clouds .: I knew u were smiling down on me and all of us in treatment . I'm 10 months sober now .. It's a miracle and I know you would be proud. . I love you big brother .. Dance it up in heaven , protect us , and try and balance on a bongo .. Lol !! Love you !!!!!!!!!!

I learned of  Chase passing by a strange circumstance. Although I never met you, I have always remmbered your beautifull mother Tracey, Grandma Blanche and grandad Luther who were extremely kind to me during my studies in jacsonville 35 yeraes ago.

Hey there buddy, for some reason I can't stop thinking about you, every little thing reminds me of you...but then I think how could I ever forget the many memories we made together! I miss you so much chase and I know we'll meet again in another life until then just know that i'm always thinking of you ;)

Chase, you are one of a kind for sure. You had that contagious laughter that would bring joy and happiness to everyone around you and I don't think anyone will ever be able to forget those beautiful blue eyes of yours. You had unconditional love for everyone and I never heard you speak a bad word about any one. You're one of the most true hearted people I knew  that got a chance to be on this earth and most of the time I forget your not here. I've always thought of you  as a son and this place wil never be the same without you. Rest in Peace and we will meet again.   Love you Chase and Tracy and Josh you are always in my heart.

The memories that I have and share with you I will cherish forever. You are my best friend and will always remain in my heart and memories. I'll never forget the day You, Taylor and I went to get puppies almost 8 years ago. Or the day I had to talk you out of buying the same shirt I did when we went to the mall.  I still have both.  I wish you could have made it out here to Colorado.  I will never forget you and will always miss you.

Dear Trayce, Josh, Blanche, and Luther,
We are so sorry for your loss.  Although we did not know Chase, we do realize how special he was.  Josh has told us such wonderful and funny stories about him.  Trayce, as I have already told you I can't even imagine your pain, but I see it in your eyes all the time.  Josh, you are no longer your brother's keeper, he is yours.  We truly believe that he will always walk by your side. Surely he was smiling down on your wedding day, and so you and Kristin are blessed.

To the Hawkins Family, I am so sorry. We miss Chase so much.  But I know that Chase is dancing with all of his angel friends.  I have had to accept that, although, I can't just call Chase on the phone or expect Chase to just drop by, it is amazing, because you still are with all of us in spirit.  You still are there.  You touched my life in a way that I can't express with words.  Not one day goes by without a tear for you.  I know you are happy in that beautiful place, I'll see you there!!  Tracy and Josh, I love you guys!  Chase once told me, Babs, please don't cry-let me sing you a song, "I'll take you to the moon- and you can dance among the stars" I stopped crying.  I love you Chase, I miss my friend.

To the Coggin family, I can only express my deepest sympathy to all of you. Most of all to his mother Tracye and brother Josh. There are so many ways to describe our dear Chase. Charming, funny and sweet. We will all miss so many of those qualities that he possessed most of all his love for others. I will always consider it to have been an honor to have been able to spend the last three years getting to share my friendship with him.

Today is the first time I have been able to read the beautiful comments everyone has written . .. Chaser, as I always liked to call him, was indeed one magical person....a heart so full of love an imagination that never quit, and a smile that would light up any room.  Chase cared, really cared, for his family and friends. He so enjoyed basking in the love of others.  And style....Chase had more style than you could shake a stick at.  Blue eyes sparkling like crystal, a laugh that turned frowns upside down, and a heart bigger  than gold.....yes that's our Chase may he live in each one of us.  I thank the good Lord for blessing me with my beautiful son Chase for 26years.  You are in my mind and my heart daily and i know now , you are your "brothers keeper" . Fly free my son let your  spirit rejoice. 

I would also very much like to thank you all for the love and care you have shown In your writings. It means the world.

My heart hurts Chaser, and I am reminded whose arms you are now in, our Lord and Saviour and we will reunite for eternity and knowing that I can have the peace that passes all understanding...I love you more than the ocean is deep or the sky is big.

My son Jeffrey (Cates) and Chase were friends during high school at Nease. May God bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time.  Our son Jeffrey also went home to be with the Lord on May 12th. I'm sure they are smiling and watching over us. Praying for each of you.

Chase is with Jesus he is dressed in White. He is in the presence of his Guardian Angel. I can just hear him saying. This is sooo cool!!!!  Chase really understood that Jesus died so he could have a permanent home in heaven! Chase has found what so many  never find in this lifetime....Perfect Peace and unconditional LOVE because Chase surrendered his life to Jesus ....he was ready to fly!
