He attended LSU, Nichols State University, and the Culinary Institute of America in NY where he earned various degrees. He worked in the restaurant business as a professional chef in New Orleans and the Midwest, and later in the industrial food industry. He was a certified executive chef and VP of business development for Rubix Foods in Jacksonville, FL.
He was passionate about South Louisiana culture, cuisine, heritage, and keeping culinary traditions alive. He was always sharing his gumbo and jambalaya generously with family and friends. A part of us has been lost with his death, and he will be remembered in our hearts forever.
