CLARK—Mr. Clyde Eric Clark, 54, passed away Sunday, May 22. 2011. Clyde was a Jacksonville native and a son of the late William Fulton Brooks and Ianthe Coe Clark. He was in public education for over 30 years and had been honored as the “Florida Teacher of the Year”. He was currently head of the World Languages Department at Wolfson High School. Surviving family includes: his sister, Beryl (Sam) Branch; two brothers, Wade (Linda) and Elgin Barnett (Kim) Clark; a God-Daughter, April Payne (Phil) Edwards; close friends, Reggie and Rose Payne; and two nieces and four nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 25, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery.
