
Clyde E. Fouraker, Jr., age 84, went home to be with our Lord on September 6, 2011. He was born in Jacksonville on April 1, 1927. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Louise; two brothers, Elmer (Mary) Fouraker and Charles (Ruth) Fouraker; one son, Peanut (Mary Jane) Fouraker; three daughters, Donna (Wilbur) Bell, Shirley (Doug) Ledford, and Becky (Mike) Lee; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. After working as a chicken farmer during his early years, he later became a subcontractor as a home builder. He began working as a supervisor with Jax Utilities Management in 1955 until his retirement in December of 2007 at the age of 80. Always smiling, never complaining, devoted to his family – a true example of what a Christian should be. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him and his sweet spirit will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, at the First Baptist Church in Baldwin. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Drum officiating. Interment will follow at Brandy Branch Cemetery.
