I waited to share a memory, because this has hit me so hard. “Ms. Connie “, as I called her, was truly a warrior. We had many conversations in that office of hers. She was the first person I spoke with, when I was transferred to Twin Lakes Academy Elementary. She always had my back, and put me in my place when necessary. She gave me words of advice, and always kept it real. There was never any sugar-coating with her, and she always had my best interest at heart. I will truly miss her, and especially her smile. My condolences go out to her entire family, and I’m here for all of you for as long as God allows me to be. I’m here for you all, and Ms. Connie is forever in my heart!😘

I will always remember Connie as a wonderful lady who always went out of her way to help others. She was especially helpful to me, even though I was principal at another school. Her budget expertise was amazing. I could always count on her to guide me through any difficulties I was experiencing getting everything in correctly to balance. Her personality was so warm and caring that it was just a pleasure to talk with her and be around her. Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rest In Peace sweet friend.

I first met Connie at Twin Lakes Elementary School. I liked her immediately. Connie always had a smile for everyone! Her laughter was infectious and her sweet and caring heart for all of us made us love her. What I remember most about her is that she always took time to ask me how I was and REALLY listened to what I had to say. Her care and concern was genuine and her advice was wise and gentle. She was a sweet soul and will be missed here on Earth.
My deepest sympathies to her family and other friends.

Connie Rae, you will be greatly missed. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and part of the family the moment I stepped foot into Twin Lakes. You truly took care of the people you loved, and I’m thankful I got to one of those people. You were such a strong woman and fought hard. I’m happy you are no longer in pain, although my heart hurts that you are not here with us. We will all miss you Connie.
Thank you for being so strong.

Connie did so much to take care of the teachers and staff at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary. Her passion was to make sure we had what we needed to be successful in the classroom. Sometimes it was supplies, receipts, or field trip forms, other times it was encouragement or a sounding board when we were frustrated.

For all you've done to help me along the way, I'll be forever grateful!

I did not get to spend a lot of time with Aunt Connie but the time I spent will forever be a treasured memory. Your light will be missed.

Sadly, I only got to work with Ms. Connie for 1 year before she retired. However, during that year not only did she make me feel welcome but she also made me feel like I was never a bother when I needed something or was late turning something in. She had an aura that was so welcoming and loving. I can't even begin to express how my heart aches for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Connie’s family! I was one of the fortunate people to work side by side with Connie. Her compassion, faithfulness and love of laughter brought me great joy! She was such a wonderful friend and colleague! Needless to say, she was a master of numbers and kept everyone in a straight line!! She was always able to make everyone feel special—a very unique gift. Oh how she will be missed. The memories must sustain all of us until we meet again. Love, Patty Cakes
