

Cowboy Carl Wilber, 64, passed away on April 28, 2012. Born in Springfield, OH to William and Dorothy Wilber, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Carl was a member of the Mandarin-St. Johns Elks Lodge No. 2866 and he enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, music, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his father, William A. Wilber, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Wilber; mother, Dorothy Wilber; daughters, Tonya Gill (Jimmy) and Angie Bontranger; bonus children, Billy Bell (Christy) and Kristy Moore (Johnny); brothers, William J. Wilber (Rebecca), John Wilber, and Jeff Wilber (Valerie); sisters, Rebecca Wilber and Dianna Bollinger (Mike); granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Gill; bonus grandchildren, Lauren Bell, Baleigh Bell, Gretchen Bell, Justin Bell and Johnny Moore, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A Celebration of Cowboy Carl’s Life will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Rev. Billy Bell, Jr. of Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Louisville, KY as Officiant. Memorial contributions may be made in Carl’s name to Community Hospice of NE FL.
