

Dan was partner and vice-president of Kinco Window Company in Jacksonville, Florida. His windows were sold throughout the southeastern United States.
Dan loved and was good at many things but he especially loved bowling and deep sea fishing. He bowled for many years in leagues and in tournaments throughout the United States. He bowled thirteen 300 games. Dan fished out of Camachee Cove in St. Augustine, Florida. He owned the "Let's Do It", "Let's Do It II and the "Let's Do It Too". He went on many fishing trips with family and friends in the Atlantic from St. Augustine to the Islands. He especially loved Treasure and Walkers Cay. He won many fishing tournaments as Captain of the Let's Do It's.
Dan and Wanda loved traveling. They went on many cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska. They made trips to Colorado with family and friends yearly to go snow skiing. He was a very generous man and he always wanted to help people. He loved to see people happy.
Dan is preceded in death by his step-son Dexter Forrest and his grandson Sammy Broadhead.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Wanda Taylor Duett, his children Cathy Howell, Dana Stephenson (Charlie), Brett Duett and Kevin Duett (Terri), 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Dan will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
