Dan was truly a Renaissance Man. He enjoyed art, music, travels around the globe, photography, gardening and cooking. Most of his career was in higher education and he was last employed by Florida State College in Jacksonville as a counselor.
Dan is survived by a brother, Richard Hadwin (Sandra), sisters in law Sarah Stanley and Jean Rietman and many close friends and neighbors. Dan was predeceased by his wife, Alice Hadwin, his sisters and other brothers and parents, Daniel and Mary Helen Hadwin.
Dan’s funeral will be at St. John’s Cathedral in Jacksonville at 11 AM on Monday November 13 with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, Dan asked that donations be made to St. John’s Cathedral, 256 E. Church St., Jacksonville, FL 32202.
