David Paul Amirault

David Paul Amirault, 51, passed away, Thursday, February 7, 2013, from a short, but courageous battle with cancer. He graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, Massachusetts, in 1979, and later from the University of Massachusetts Turf Management Program. David is survived by his wife Shelly, his eight year old son Jacob, his parents Paul and Anne Amirault, sisters Diane Ranaldi and Carol Erb, niece Alica Erb, and step-daughters Kayla and Candace, and step-granddaughter Haley.David was the superintendent of Deerwood Country Club of Jacksonville, the former president of the North Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, and was a devoted father and coach. He will be remembered as a compassionate and caring person who was respected and loved by many. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 11, at 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jacksonville. During the month of March, a memorial service will be held in his home town of Dalton, Massachusetts.
