David Alan Heisler

David Alan Heisler,63, of Jacksonville Fl, passed away on Sunday May 3, 2015. David was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and anyone fortunate enough to be his friend. David was a very talented and skilled kitchen and bath designer. He was a very witty jokester, charming husband, proud and loving father and extremely fun, loving grandpa to his 4 beautiful grandchildren. David was born and raised in Palatka, Fl where he attended high school and later joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He came home and married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. David is predeceased by his mother, Johnnie Bell Douglas and his father, James Dalton Heisler. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Kathryn Allison Heisler and his 3 children: Allison Stroisch (Jason), Mark Heisler, and Kellie Kearns (Kris). Along with his 4 beautiful grandchildren: Savannah, Sydney, Triston and Kinzie. David’s family would like to greatly thank the Cancer Specialist of North Florida, Southpoint for their wonderful support and excellent care up until the very end.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 3:00-5:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
