Diane Verney Bradford, 54, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2014 after complications from a stroke. Diane was a legal assistant for ten years with the Florida Bar Assoc. in Ft. Lauderdale, prior to the family’s relocation to Jacksonville.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Barry L. Bradford, Jr.; daughters Michaele, Abigail and Harper; parents, George and Puddie Verney; siblings Alison Lancaster (Tom), Stewart Verney and Eileen Briggs; sister-in-law Shari Sherman (Tom), brother-in-law Mike Bradford; and 16 nieces and nephews.
Funny, beautiful, smart, an avid reader, and lover of politics and the arts, whose strong Catholic faith sustained her throughout her life, she will be fabulously remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Riverside, 2609 Park St., Jacksonville FL, November 10, 2014 at 11 am.
