

Donald W Burton III entered into Heaven on December 8, 2023 unexpectedly. He was born to Donald W. Burton Jr. and Robin Burton on November 16, 1984 in Portsmouth, VA at the Naval Hospital. He was the answer to his parents prayer. He later moved with parents and younger sister when he was four to Jacksonville, Florida which became his permanent home after living two years in Iceland while his dad was stationed there with the Navy. Donnie graduated from First Coast Christian School in 2004. He had a few jobs before he found his niche in the environmental consulting industry with Probe Domain. He was later recruited to Golder Associates where he was presently working. Donnie was a very hard worker and always gave one hundred percent in anything he did. Donnie lived life to the fullest and always seized every opportunity. He had a passion for music and loved attending concerts from a young age. He also enjoyed being outdoors and hiking with friends. Donnie had a wonderful love for the Lord and displayed it always and accepted people as they were. He was funny, goal setter, and kind. Donnie was very involved with the Cub Scouts ministry through Oak Hill Church which he was a lifetime member.
Donnie was greeted by his dad Wayne Jr., his Grandpa , Don Sr, and both of his grandmothers and many others in heaven.
Donnie leaves behind the love of his life Natalie Burton, Step-son Ayden, Mother Robin Burton, Sister Danielle (Brian), two precious nieces Bailey and Naya, Grandmother Hazel Burton, and many other family and friends.
Donnie’s wish would be that you live your life for the Lord and to make the most of every opportunity you are given.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene,4151 Old Middleburg Rd, Jacksonville, FL at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
