Donna Moore Blizzard, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on January 10, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on August 4, 1952, in Douglas, Georgia, Donna was a beacon of light and love in the lives of everyone she touched.
Donna dedicated her life to her family and her community. She enjoyed helping others and working as a buyer for the City of Jacksonville and the Duval County School Board for more than 40 years.
Donna's passions in life included going to watch the Jaguars and Gators play, and supporting her daughter Shannon's many endeavors, including swimming, dancing, and educational pursuits.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert (Bob) Blizzard; her daughter, Shannon (Zach) Usztok; and her grandchildren, Stephen and Nathan Usztok. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Moore and Terry Moore. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael, and her parents Corinne and Leo Moore.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:00 am at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32211. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Hospice & Palliative Care in Donna's honor.
Donna's kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
