Doris Ann Faustini

Doris S. Faustini, 97, passed away on July 29th in East Palatka, FL. She was born November 16, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Anna Schaefer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life reflected her devotion to her family and her Catholic faith. She is predeceased by John, her husband of 54 years, her daughter Ann, brother Jack, and sister Marie. She leaves behind six children: Joan Faustini of Santa Fe, NM, Paula Faustini (Kim Robert Ashley), Mark Faustini (Nancy Hernandez), both of Jacksonville, FL, Laura Yocum (Tim), of Alachua, FL, Stephen Faustini (Holly) of St. Augustine, FL, and Christopher Faustini (Christine) of East Palatka, FL. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Jennie Knuth (Jarret) of Newton, MA, Allie Yocum of Alachua, FL, Joseph and Rebecca Faustini of St. Augustine, FL, and three great grandchildren: Emilia Yocum, and Bryson and Riley Knuth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, August 12th, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd, Jacksonville, FL. Visitation will be prior to Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Gainesville, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Doris’ memory to your favorite charity.
